Minnesota Waterfowl Association will be co-sponsoring a special restricted access hunt that will be held in the pool 2 portion of the sanctuary at Carlos Avery WMA in Anoka County. Two blinds will be available by drawing on Saturday and Tuesday mornings through the waterfowl season.

The Minnesota Waterfowl Association, Inc. (MWA) elected the following to their Board of Directors at the July 31, 2010, Chapter Delegates Meeting held at the Prairie Woods Environmental Learning Center near Spice, MN.
Elected where John Wolf, from New Prague, MN as President, Justin Sommer, Vice President from Fairmont, MN and Greg Meyer, Vice President from Andover, MN.
The Minnesota Department of Natural Resources (DNR) has scheduled a series of statewide workshops in August to explain the application process for $4,210,560 in Conservation Partners Legacy (CPL) grants available this year.

2010 Summer Delegate's Meeting
On Saturday July 31, 2010, the Minnesota Waterfowl Association will host it's annual summer Delegate meeting near New London, MN at the Prairie Woods Environmental Learning Center. The meeting will start at 9:00am and we hope to be finished by 2:00 pm. the at around 3:00 pm we will be having a sporting clays shoot at the same location. This meeting is open to any member, and we encourage all chapters to participate. Also at this meeting, we will be electing three new Board members. The positions that are up for election are, President (1-yr term), Vice President (1-yr term), and vice President (2-yr term).
