Minnesota Waterfowl Association was awarded 5 of the 15 projects we submitted for the LSOCH CPL Grant program. We have a seperate tab dedicated to those projects above. We will be updating those projects as they progress.
Minnesota Waterfowl Association is commited to improving habitat and environment for watefowl. Thousands of Minnesota's lakes and wetlands areas are home to summering waterfowl in addition to birds that use them each spring and fall during migration. Due to environmental factors, rough fish overpopulation, pollution, and other factors, locations that were once used by hundreds of thousands of migrating waterfowl each year are now unable to support the numbers of animals they once were. Minnesota Watefowl Association, through partnerships with the Minnesota DNR and other organizations, supports and funds many projects to improve and restore these important migration habitats.
