Young Waterfowlers Program
******ATTENTION******
Because of the changes in the waterfowl season and the date for the Youth Waterfowl Day, we will not be having the Young Waterfowls Program this year. We will be re-tooling the program for next year and including a firearm's safety class as part of the progrma in the future. The original goal of this program was to introduce kids that are from non-hunting families, into watefowl hunting. We feel that by including the firearms safety training into this program, we will accomplish this goal starting in 2012.
However, we are also starting a youth mentored hunt that will take place on the MN Valley National Wildlife Refuge on September 10, 2011. The only requirement is that the kids must have gone through the Young Watefowlers Program prior and be 15 or younger. If you fit the bill please email the MWA at: info@mnwaterfowl.com
