2012 Advanced Woodie Camp

October 18, 19 and 20, 2012

2012 Advanced Woodie Camp was held October 18 - 20, 2012 over MEA break. We had 13 kids participate and 9 mentors. The kids all came from all parts of the state, and had a terrific time. The weather wasn't great, but that's hunting. All the kids got to shoot at wild birds, ducks and / or geese. Plus they all shot 5-stand (clay targets) and they got to go on a pheasant hunt with lots of pheasants. What a great experience and a better time.

It was really neat to see the kids so excited about the entire "duck camp" weekend, and to see them jump right back into getting to know each other again.

Thank you to the parents for letting your kids attend this camp, and thank you to the mentors for making this happen. It couldn't happen with out your devotion to getting kids outdoors, and we are grateful to you all.
