FAQ

What is the current structure of MWA with it's chapters?
We have chapters across the entire state. Each chapter holds a banquet every year, the state office get's the membership dollars to run the state office, the chapters keep all the fundraising money for local habitat projects. We feel that our chapters volunteer a ton of hours, and that they should be the ones identifying local habitat needs, they can promote this in there local areas and make an impact on waterfowl needs based on where they are located. We feel that MWA and it's structure can make a difference locally to increase the waterfowl numers over all in Minnesota.Does all money raised, really stay only in Minnesota?
Yes it does. The Minnesota Waterfowl Association is the only state waterfowl association in the state. We are more than 40 years old, and we are proud that all the money raised stays in Minnesota, our moto is "Minnesota Bucks for Minnesota Ducks"
