Kids wishing to attend Woodie Camp must secure their Firearm Safety Certificate before acceptance  Campers are instructed in best shooting practices. The camps curriculum is very extensive with courses in gun care...
     
 ...field decoying  ...predation and much more.  Campers collect samples from one of the 28 surrounding wetlands...
     
 ...for testing and species identification in the classroom  Woodie camp is held in Fergus Falls, MN at the Prairie Wetland Learning Center.  The Learning Center (with its 325 acres of restored prairie land) is an ideal place to teach kids the importance of waterfowl and wetland conservation.
